Located in the breathtaking scenery of the Brecon Beacons National Park, The Sleeping Giant Bunkhouse is fantastically versatile – with room for up to 30 people and great facilities, including a spacious dining area.

 

 

The property dates from the 17th Century and retains many original features such as arrow slits and exposed oak beams. Inside is a well equipped kitchen with a microwave, fridge, freezer and six burner cooker. The dining room has facilities for up to 40 people, with wood block flooring and a wood burning stove. A lounge, two shower and toilet areas and a large kit drying room complete the ground floor.

diningroomv02There are 9 centrally heated bedrooms situated on the first floor, with between 2 and 4 beds in each room.

If you don’t want to cook for yourself, catering can be arranged – or pop in to one of the award winning pubs nearby!

There are some superb walks from the bunkhouse, including access to the Beacons 100 mile footpath that traverses the National Park. We are also close to Henrhyd falls- the highest in the park – and the National Showcaves of Wales at Dan-yr-Ogof.
