Instructor Profiles

Absolute Adventure understand how important it is to have the right instructors, your enjoyment and safety depend on it. That's why we only employ people with a proven record of excellence in their field.


Steve Rose leads our team of instructors. He has worked in the outdoors for the past 16 years and is qualified in all major outdoor activities. He has successfully run expeditions to the Everest region of Nepal and throughout Europe. Steve and the team will provide you with an event that is both challenging and within the abilities of everyone involved.

Steve leads our team of instructors. He has worked in the outdoors for the past 16 years and is qualified in all major outdoor activities. He has successfully run expeditions to the Everest region of Nepal and throughout Europe. Steve and the team will provide you with an event that is both challenging and within the abilities of everyone involved.



Anna Strickland has worked in sail training for over 10 years, and is a qualified yacht skipper with a commercial licence. She has a vast experience of outdoor instruction and team building in such diverse areas as the bay of Biscay and the summit of Mont Blanc . As your first point of contact with 'Absolute Adventure', Anna is able to advise you about an event that best suits your aims and objectives.

Mike’s a keen climber and mountaineer, who’s confidence and judgment inspires people to really go for it

Liam combines an extensive technical knowledge with an enthusiasm which will make your adventure safe and enjoyable.

John Roberts

John has been part of the team since 2002 and brings a wealth of experience in teaching and outdoor education.  His passion for the outdoors will help you get the most from your experience.
