We challenge, you achieve!

" Such memories are in themselves enormously enriching. They have become part of what we are. Perhaps more importantly, many will have learned not to let their fears get in the way of their dreams: to live life perhaps less safely, but more adventurously: to feel all the stress of the enormity of the undertaking, and still go. That surely is the formula for a life worth living."

Problem Solving/Scenario Based courses with Absolute Adventure

Problem Solving/Scenario based courses

The teams complete various tasks, all requiring a different approach and leadership style. With some challenges the planning and mental abilities of the group will be highlighted, whilst in others a more instinctive approach to a physical task will be more effective.

Adventurous Activity Courses

Using outdoor pursuits such as climbing abseiling, and gorge walking, we develop trust and emphasise the importance of team support and communication. Other issues revolve around an awareness of everyone's safety and welfare, while also completing the task set.

Whichever style of course you choose we make sure that it's within the ability of all the group, allowing everyone to take a leadership role. Team building should not be a test of endurance but an opportunity to observe other peoples strengths and share their weaknesses.

Comments from previous Absolute Adventure Participants

"I especially wanted to ensure that all the instructors were passed a big thank you from the airport team. They were marvellous at putting us at ease and giving us loads of confidence"

"A fun way to get to look at leadership styles and to identify your own reactions and your effect on those around you".

" It was paramount to work as a team during the day, and some of the exercises could only be achieved by totally trusting your team members"

" Brilliant day, much harder than I expected, but in a positive way. All the exercises were challenging and required a variety of skills which allowed different people to shine throughout the day , dependant on their skills and knowledge".

"The team spirit exceeded all expectation! We laughed when we failed and laughed when we achieved. The enthusiasm was beyond what anyone could have expected, despite the rain."

"Thank you all very much for a totally excellent weekend. I'm so pleased it all went so smoothly and everyone had a great experience. It was one of the best weekends I have had in this country, and like everyone else I was sad when it ended. Already people are asking me when we can go again. Thanks again for your hard work, it was much appreciated".

"Each member of the team took it in turns to be the team leader . This provided me with a valuable insight, as firstly I had to stop myself from trying to control the situation and secondly I learnt so much from my observations of others in the team leader role".
